Travelling during the night, Shongololo Express trains save guests precious holiday time, arriving each dawn at a new destination. Professional multi lingual guides take guests on inclusive scheduled excursions. An exciting and varied programme of touring, superb breakfasts and dinners with fine South African wines on board - all these combine to create an unforgettable holiday. Age LimitsLong journeys (more than 2 nights) are not recommended for under 13 yr old children. Children between 0-2 years old are not permitted to travel. There are no child-minding facilities or activities available for children on board. Sharing a SuiteThe train operators allow a maximum of two guests to share a suite or cabin, except if there is a child under 5 years old. In this case, sharing is permitted with two adults in a Deluxe, Royal or Emerald category only; not Pullman. If there is a child over 5 years old, they must have their own Suite or Cabin, perhaps shared with a nanny, one of the parents or another guardian. Fares3-9 years: 25% discount - pays 75% of the adult per person sharing rate Over 10 years: Pays full adult rate Club discount applies for Members.
