The private Grand Trans Siberian Express cruises between Moscow and Peking and includes sightseeing stops in world-class cities as well as in rarely visited places.

The Trans Siberian Railway is the world's longest railway line, connecting Moscow and Vladivostok as well as 2 continents - Europa and Asia.

The Grand Trans Siberian Express joins the Trans Mongolian Railway at Ulan Ude and crosses Mongolia into China.

The train stops overnight in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, where passengers stay overnight in a hotel.

Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Lake Baikal, Ulan Ude, Ulaanbaatar, Gobi Desert and Peking are visited.

The Grand Trans Siberian Express carries only 140 passengers, which means there is single-sitting dining in the 3 dining cars until entering China (see below).

Note that there will be one night in a First Class (not Deluxe Class) cabin on the Chinese train (see below).

The Deluxe Class cabins are for 1 or 2 persons and have 1 lower and 1 upper bed.

There is an ensuite bathroom with basin, WC lavatory and shower.

The Deluxe Class cabins are 5.4sqm (58sqft). The lower bed is a generous 120cms (3ft 11ins) x 190cms (6ft 3ins); the upper bed is 85cms (2ft 9½ins) x 190cms (6ft 3ins).

The cabins are air-conditioned with individual controls.

There are 220v sockets in each cabin, available for razors and charging mobile phones.

At the Mongolian/Chinese border, passengers change trains due to a change in rail gauge. There are only First Class cabins on the Chinese Train. There is one night on this train. The cabins do not have ensuite facilities.

Dining Carriages

There are three dining cars on the Grand Trans Siberian Express so that up to 140 guests can enjoy their meals at the same time in one sitting.

The chefs prepare local specialties of Russia, Mongolia and China.

Note: On the Chinese connecting train between the Chinese border and Peking or vice versa there are only two restaurant cars, serving a Chinese dinner and a European breakfast in 2 sittings.
