The Al Andalus Expreso is considered a luxury train-hotel that travels through the Andalusian landscape. The décor, service and gastronomy transport one to the glamour of the Belle Epoque.

The Al Andalus has 14 carriages:

• 7 de luxe sleeping cars some with en suite bathrooms
• 2 dining cars (Alhambra and Gibralfaro)
• a Bar Car (Giralda)
• a Salon and Games Car (Medina Azahara)
• one kitchen car
• one crew car and a generator car

Five of the Al Andalus sleeping cars were made in France in 1929. The British royal family used these carriages for journeys from Calais to the French Riviera.

The Al Andalus has been carefully restored, retaining original features and adding modern comforts. All coaches have air conditioning.

Club Cabins have twin beds or a queen-size bed, all with en suite shower, basin and private lavatory.

During the day, beds are folded away, becoming sofas and leaving space for a table and a chair. The cabins also have space for suitcases, a wardrobe, drawers and a safe. Air-conditioning and heating can be regulated.
